gefahrenstellen.de - Detect and report dangerous spots on roads

At www.gefahrenstellen.de and in the app (Android and iOS), you can point out dangerous spots yourself. Others are warned via smartphone or navigation device and can thus react appropriately. Therefore, everyone is called upon to report dangerous spots and contribute to more safety on the roads. The number of accidents is constantly increasing, and the causes are often misjudgement and late noticing of dangers. With FeGiS+, hazards are detected and accidents are prevented by means of established data sources and the input of the website. Risks are recognized and safer routes are offered.

Road safety and prevention are offered new opportunities. FeGiS+ is funded in the Modernity Fund ("mFund") by the BMVI. In 2017 and 2018, the platform developed with the Safer Roads Initiative was successfully tested in a study that was also funded.
