Nanomechanics of 1D Materials

 

The overall objective of this project was to study and characterise the mechanical response of 1D nanomaterials subjected to strain stimuli.

Task in the project:

Modelling and reproduction of the experiments on multi-walled carbon nanotubes with finite elements and molecular dynamics simulations.
