Traffic Flow Assessment
Procedures for the evaluation of the traffic flow on motorways as an all-year analysis for different boundary conditions
Procedures for the evaluation of the traffic flow on motorways as an all-year analysis for different boundary conditions
For the assessment of different structural and operational scenarios, a procedure of the traffic flow on motorways is developed for the whole-year analysis . Based on a comparative analysis of different model approaches, a suitable traffic flow model is selected, calibrated and prototypically implemented. The assessment procedure will be integrated into a further developed concept for the construction business planning on federal motorways. For the application of the procedure an initial supply with the relevant parameters of the traffic demand and capacity of all sections of the federal motorway network is carried out.
