Summer Semester

The Institute Internship "Road Engineering" is offered in the "Elective Area of Traffic and Spatial Planning" by the Chair of Highway Engineering in the 6th semester of the Bachelor's degree programs in Civil Engineering and Business Administration and Engineering: Civil Engineering as well as for the degree program in Transport Engineering and Mobility.

The aim of the institute internship is to bring the working area as well as the working methods of traffic and road engineers with practical relevance closer to the students. In addition, you will gain insight into the methods and organization of data collection and processing, the application of software solutions, the design and dimensioning of traffic systems as well as the design and the construction of roads. These work steps shall be worked on constructively for a better understanding of the processes. This internship gives the opportunity to apply the content you learned during the Bachelor's course and as you will need them in practice.
