Integral Evaluation of Flatness
The integral recording of evenness in the form of terrain models creates for the first time the prerequisite for an evaluation detached from the separation into longitudinal and transverse evenness. It thus offers the opportunity for an integral description and evaluation of the road surface oriented to the real form and effect of unevenness with regard to the driver, vehicle and road surface.
The aim of this research project is to develop the possibilities of a conversion from the 2 to the 3-dimensional registration and to derive from it ways of a future description and evaluation of road surfaces.
